OUR HISTORY
Civitech Consulting Group, Inc. was founded in October 2005 by three Civil Engineers: Joseph Peteza, Elmer Candaza, and Juan Victor Valencia.
Banking on the idea that outsourced engineering can be better, the company was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on November 29, 2005. The team started by providing its first client, JGC Philippines, with consulting engineers who had been specifically trained for the work to be done for their clients. Since then, Civitech has evolved from a trusted structural design team into a fast-growing multi-discipline engineering services provider and, most importantly, established enduring relationships with its clients.
With more than a decade of experience in the field of engineering design and commitment to innovation, Civitech has developed a reputation for offering clients unique solutions that meet their needs.
From assuming the role of designers to construction implementers and being on the developer/client side, we have seen an opportunity to move forward in the industry by promoting quality as the basic tenet in design.

Juan Victor Valencia
President
Juan Victor Valencia has a broad range of skills, experience, and expertise as a Real Estate Broker since 2007. He is currently a trustee of the Muntinlupa Real Estate Board and a member of that organization since 2008. He graduated from the University of the Philippines Los Baños with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.

Due to the nature of his work, he has a great deal of insight into what clients want.
With an impressive track record, Juan Victor brings an organized approach to his leadership responsibilities.

Joseph Peteza
Operations Manager/Principal Engineer
Joseph Peteza has an extensive engineering background with more than 20 years of experience. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman, and a candidate for a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from De La Salle University.

A well-educated and reputable Civil Engineer specializing in Structural Design, Joseph's knowledge of intricate design processes and industry trends makes him a sought-after expert for finding innovative solutions for his clients.

Joseph is interested in neural networks, machine learning, and earthquake engineering. He believes in working smart by utilizing programming tools, such as Python and R to speed up his work.
